Review of "Xtreme Millions" by Rex Turner Updated 7/7/08:

When I purchased Xtreme Millions, it was from a web site that says "2 Internet Programmers Break Silence and reveal exactly how they went from being employed earning a measly paycheck to becoming Millionaires in under 6 months working online from home."

Now that webpage has changed to a page by "Rick Williams" who's is going to "Show You Exactly How To Make $1000+ Every Day".  They are TOTALLY different.  I know I saved a web archive of both versions. (Update: It has changed AGAIN...at least they are testing! Who knows what it will be when YOU see it.)

Funny when I purchased, during checkout, there was a name that was a foreign name...not a good ole American sounding name like "Rick Williams"..  Maybe there IS a Rick Williams somewhere.  I don't know.  Yes I know people use pen names all the time.  If this was the end of it we would be ok.

Two totally different stories about where the ebook comes from.  Check.  Then another small detail is the fact that a quick whois shows a Private Domain by Proxy. So we don't know who REALLY owns the site. Check! Again doesn't mean a lot by itself.

OK Rex it is being advertised by a person who is scamming us in the ad.  Some people would say he's just flat out lying.  Some would call it "Marketing".  You decide for yourself. I guess I am used to this by now. This does go on in our industry as a norm quite frankly.

But now I own this product so the question is...

IS "EXTREME MILLIONS" ANY GOOD?  After all, that IS the important part.

Well the short answer is Yes and No...but mostly No!

First I must say that the sales page is SLICK.  It is downright beautifully done.  It is VERY compelling HOWEVER it is full of problems when you get to looking at it.

Example "This is not a get rich quick program" it states in bold letters.  Of course the banner says "$1,000,000 in 6 months and the headline says "I am Going to Show You Exactly How to Make $1000+ Every Day - You Can Start Earning 15 Minutes From Now"  Then there is "You will receive checks like this within 2 weeks."  It has many other compelling claims to instant wealth all over the sales page.

OK I know I was raised in Oklahoma, but where I come from those are GET RICH QUICK CLAIMS!  Good grief ! 

The sale page today on 9/16/07 states  "AS SEEN IN: Entrepreneur Magazine "

Of course you won't find that it has ANYTHING to do with Xtreme Millions.  It just has to do with making money on the internet.

I could go on & on.  Remember this new sales page showed up AFTER the equally compelling "Two Computer Programmers" versions that I purchased from. And the claims have gotten much wilder.

But let's recap before we go on...

Claims:

1. Make $1,000,000 in 6 Months or Less (If I am the FTC I would be licking my chops over this one!)

2. You will receive checks like this within 2 weeks spending less than 20 minutes per day Even if You are New. 

3. People exactly like me and you have quit there jobs after just one week of using this system.

4. All you have to do is switch the system on and watch the cash start pouring in.

5. Order now and start making money in 15 minutes.

Yup, that about sums it up.  OK I think I have it now.  Good grief!

So tell me the truth...is it worth buying?

Well the price of admission is not a problem if I can learn something important from it..  Really when it comes to making money online, the cost of something in this price range doesn't even register if it helps me make more money online. 

So after buying the thing…you know….curiosity made me do it right???   What did I find?  Was there any value? 

The PDF is only 50 pages.

OK but I have said many times the size of the PDF isn't as important as the VALUE.

But here was something disturbing.  I open up the PDF and here are some examples of what I got.

Note that these are actual screenshots of the PDF as supplied.  These are representative of the entire ebook.  Only about 50% of each page has any data on it.  Huge margins & it was setup for something other than 8 1/2 x 11 pages so when you DO print it on 8 1/2 x 11 pages it looks like this.  OK it looks that way onscreen too. (Remember these are screenshots.)

Now look at the screenshots below.

Kinda hard to read huh?  Whoever did this is a genuine GENIUS at Adobe Acrobat.  Many situations are like this throughout the ebook where you have to squint your eyes & figure out what is really being said.  I have trouble with Acrobat too, but I'm not the one selling this ebook either.  I would NOT have shipped it for sale like this.

OK Rex you think the formatting of the PDF sucks but...

What about the DATA?  Is it any good?

Sorry you don't get off that easy. Whine continues...

Well NO I DON'T like the book layout.  The table of contents is poorly laid out, the advanced section is at the front & the beginner's section is at the back.  NO WAY would I have done that.  There is a table of contents.  If people want to skip over the beginner's section let 'em.  But if you want reading to be continuous & not go in a circle, put the beginner's section at well....the beginning.

OK time to be honest... Hey Rex that is what we EXPECT!

Yes there is SOME good content in here.  This thing covers too many items (from Adwords, to AdSense, to Clickbank, to CJ, to actual ads they use.).  In 50 pages you just don't have enough room to explain anything in detail when you cover that much.

But what they DID do right...

They show some "actually used" campaigns & some really insightful ideas about how to take something from Commission Junction (for example) and put up a winning Adwords campaign to make money.  Ironically in spite of all the bad things I have to say I will say that there were at least 5 or 6 really great ideas in the book that will make my money back for me.  That is why I did not refund the book.  Also, I believe that if I use the information I should keep the product.  Honestly, I virtually never ask for refund.

MOSTLY the whole experience irritated the crap out of me.  But it had moments where I went  "Hey COOL that is a neat idea".  I really DID come close to refunding it because I couldn't read the tiny text on the page with overlapping print.

I am going to *assume* that they will eventually get the PDF fixed.  They are obviously working on the sales page to improve conversions.  There are *some* signs of an experience marketer but I can NOT condone the PDF that I got.  It was crap!

Still I want to say that SOME of the data included things I had not seen before & were great points & ideas.

So is it worth buying?  MAYBE... But I doubt it.

Sure I know you WANT Xtreme Millions Wealth System or whatever they are calling it this week but it is ALL HYPE and no filler.  The ad is slick.  Get rich now.  Don't do work.  Sit back & collect money.  It is BS.

If you are a newbie I PROMISE you that you would be better off purchasing IMC's Insider's Secrets by Derek Gehl.  If you are a middle skill marketer you might get some good out of it like I did.  If you are super advanced  you don't need it...plain & simple.

It's not so bad there is no value in it, I just want all of you to be aware of what you would be getting into if you purchase it.

To boot...the old version with the NEW sales page at http://www.xtremewealthsystem.com  (where I purchased it) is no longer for sale.  But you can see the OLD sales page with yet two NEW people named Charles and Omar at a whole new website.

I almost forgot they also included a couple of website templates to download for free.  They were ok.

If you insist on buying it to get those half dozen great ideas & a couple of templates so be it.  But I don't recommend it.  But if you are so bull headed that you are gonna buy it anyway you might as well buy it through my affiliate link.  You can at least reward me for telling you the truth.  Of course, they MAY have fixed it by now, I know I am sure not going to buy it again to find out...and they have never contacted me to let me know it is fixed.

Now you know that if you find someone who says it is the "greatest thing" that they don't give two hoots about their customers.  They are in it for the money.  I am telling you the TRUTH about it instead of adding hype to the crap that is already out there for it.  This is what I do to add value to my customers.

PS.  I forgot to mention, that I made the formatting of the document a lot better by reformatting it in Acrobat myself to where it fills up the whole page.  You could do the same.

PPS.  I also forgot to mention that It has an 8 week money back guarantee.  So if you can't stand it & want to give it a try you won't lose & they MAY have fixed the PDF by now.  I couldn't say.
