I purchased the Corey Rudl Insider Secrets course in 2004 so mine is the 2004 course.  So my review will cover what I purchased.

Listen, I'll be the first to admit that I was hesitant when I first decided to buy "Insider Secrets". But when it arrived on my doorstep (only 3 days later!), I sure was feeling better.  I had built myself up to quite a level of excitement I must admit.

This is a HUGE package of info

It sure was a HEFTY thing! This monster package contains TWO, beautiful, large 3-ring binders.  They are each 2" thick!  There is also a "Read Me First" booklet, a "Quick Start Guide", A guidebook on affiliate programs, a couple of bonus CDs (the 2005 course has THREE) and a seminar workbook.  All in all it is packed with over 1000 (now over 1300) pages of super valuable information. I understand that this sounds like an overwhelming amount of information, but one of my favorite things about the course is that it is laid out in a easy "step-by-step" format.    The 3 ring binder actually has tabs that are called Step 1, Step 2 & so on up to Step 10.  Let's See what his steps are:

Step 1: Decide what you're going to sell, then plan to profit.  Corey helps you decide what you want to sell and how to plan out your business.

Step 2: Design and build your web site.  Corey teaches you how to design and build your site.

Step 3: Prepare your sales copy. Corey is a master of sales copy.  Corey teaches you how to perfect your sales copy.

Step 4: How to setup an automated ordering system.  Corey gives you 10 lessons devoted to automation.  Corey believed in automation from the beginning of setting up your business.  This gives you time to work ON your business not in it.  You must be prepared to be SWAMPED with orders!

Step 5: Prepare to collect your visitors' email addresses.  You need to know how to do newsletters.  Corey teaches you the techniques for your opt-in list & how to grow your list.

Step 6: Submit your site to the search engines.  There are tons of great ideas & tips here to drive more traffic to your site.  Most people LOVE this section. Corey shows you how to drive massive traffic to your web site.

Step 7: Find cheap traffic for your web site.  Even MORE ways to drive traffic to your site.  7 lessons are dedicated to this step.

Step 8: Using email promotions to dramatically increase your sales.  Corey was the MASTER at this.  Learn from him.

Step 9: Take advantage of the lifetime value of your customers.  How to do follow-up offers etc. Corey will show you how.

Step 10: Testing, tracking and surveying.  Corey goes through the numbers one at a time to show you the value of testing your ads.

Listen...you don't need to be some kind of computer whiz to understand and use the strategies that are taught in the course! You'll be amazed at how easy it actually is to do things like set up autoresponders, accept credit cards on your site, and build your own opt-in e-mail program. 

The course also comes with 3 CD-ROMs that are literally packed with all kinds of great resources. These CDs contain everything from "fill-in-the-blank" e-mail and newsletter templates, to revealing audio interviews, as well as Corey's "Personal Rolodex," which is a list of 167 web sites, tools, software, and resources -- mostly FREE or "almost-free" -- which can save you TONS of time and money.

But what impresses me most about this course is just how complete it is. I've purchased tons of other Internet marketing books and resources before, and they just don't cover it all.  For example, they'll tell you how to build a great-looking site, but won't tell you how to get anyone to visit it! Or they'll tell you that you need to start collecting e-mail addresses from your visitors -- and then they don't tell you HOW to do it!

The "Insider Secrets" course is almost like an encyclopedia of Internet marketing, since it explains in tremendous detail absolutely everything you need to know about how to start, run, and grow a profitable online business. I give this product thumbs up.   I think it is a winner.

This is the course that actually got me up off the couch & doing an online business.  That should say something.

OK Rex, you've said nothing but good stuff.  C'mon give us the dirt.  OK here it goes.  Corey has other products.  He has products that help in almost any area of your online business.  Honestly he WILL try to sell them ALL to you.  But he is a real pro, so those products are great products.  In fact I LOVE them.  You don't have to buy HIS products but quite frankly you need to consider them because they are some of the best ones available.  I have found the quality of his merchandise to be SO good that I want  every one of them.  I am slowly buying every one of them too!

Is that all you can say Rex?  OK OK.  When you get the course you have to tear into the shrink wrap & assemble the 3 ring binders yourself.  There are you happy!  And another thing...The printing is only on one side of the pages.  GASP! So it looks like you are getting more than you are as far as THICKNESS goes.  Is THICKNESS how you measure Corey's work.  I don't think so!  Good Lord, this information is worth probably 10 times what he charges, but you wanted me to tell you worst stuff.  There just isn't much bad to say!

MY opinion: This course is the real deal! 

"C'mon Rex, I thought you were gonna tell us bad stuff too."

"OK Rex what is the WORST thing you can say?" Boy, that's pretty difficult.  I REALLY like this product.  But here goes.  Corey does give links to many outside products and services in his resources lists, but he didn't give us too many that compete with him.  Pretty much everything he recommends is his.  I can't really blame him but it would have been nice to add even more resources than he gave.

So tell me the truth...is it worth buying?

Well let me ask YOU a question...  If you are starting a web site business or have one that isn't going anywhere, what is it worth to you to EXPLODE your profits?  How will you feel after Corey's "Insider Secrets" course helps you prove to yourself & others that you can succeed?  After you buy "Insider Secrets" you will know beyond any doubt the answer to those questions.
